In 2023 we will be open for 4 weeks from 29 July until 26 August. This summer we are opening all the facilities including the showers and toilets. Three years ago, due to social distancing, we reduced the number of pitches from 18 to 12 with a pitch size increase of 2m to 12m x 7m. Vehicles still have to be parked on the left with tents on the right for all pitches. All pitches now have electric hook-up if needed. A 20m round pin hook-up lead will be required by all campers. This is now a permanent feature, and this year we have increased the cost of electric hook-up (if required) by £1 to £6. SORRY, BUT WE DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH ELECTRIC SUPPLY TO ALLOW FOR CHARGING OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES, HOWEVER, THERE ARE CHARGING POINTS LOCALLY IN THE AREA.

Camping is on a one acre, level, well-drained campsite at the back of a 16 Century thatched cottage, where we keep a few alpacas and chickens. New toilets and showers, chemical waste disposal point and dishwashing facility. 12 marked pitches 12m x 7m all with electric hook-up (20m round pin hook-up lead required). Volleyball, badminton and football goal in middle of field and table tennis table. Children (and some adults!!) can sometimes be noisy playing games in the evening - we ask that games stop and the site to quieten down at 10pm.

Our campsite is next to the very useful facilities of Sandy Balls Holiday Village with it's shops, restaurants etc, (it is unlikely that the swimming pools will be open to non members during August as they are too busy). Please also be aware that sometimes, mainly in the evening, we do get music noise from their site.
