Dear Bill and Helen,

We wanted to drop you a line to express our thanks for the weekend.

Croft Cottage is absolutely stunning and we so enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much for a delightful weekend, I am sure we will be back again in the future.
Give Toby a cuddle from me!

We had a lovely weeks honeymoon at the lodge - ideal location. We were greeted with champaign on the house, and a card - pretty impressive for only having met them once! They truely are a lovely couple, and the lodge is a wonderful self catered holiday location - we hope to return to the lodge soon.

Just got back from a fabulous weekend with Bill, Helen, Katie, Daisy and Toby at Croft Cottage. Fantastic hosts; from lending me conditioner so I could wash my hair through to driving us to the wedding venue nothing was too much bother. Also, Bills breakfasts are great, especially after a night on the tiles! Thank you Liz and Kev xx

Yet another fantastic camping trip. Great weather, good company, brilliant camp fires all finished off with a great concert! All that for the cost of a bacon sandwich (and a pound or two!!) Thank you Bill and family for being such good hosts! See you all next year!

We came across Croft Cottage B&B by default, Bill and Helen greet you as if you are trusted friends ,We stayed in the Croft itself a beautiful huge ground floor double room, patio doors leading into the garden and paddock.Bill cooks a great full english breakfast which keeps you going for most of the day and although i've tried to get Helen to sell her Jams she says she does it for her pleasure, once tasted never forgotten believe me!we have stayed twice now and are looking forward to next year.

Rosemary and I had a wonderful long weekend in late March. Celebrated our 35th anniversary while there.
This was simply the best long weekend break we have ever had ... not only lovely accomodation but even more important ..... a really warm welcome from Bill and Helen! (not to mention Toby and Daisy May:)
We're going to try to get down there every 3 months or so Whatever else is going on in our lives.....

We had a lovely three days at Croft Cottage Lodge in the February half-term. My daughter Madeline enjoyed seeing to Toby and even mucking out. In return Bill kindly gave her a pair of jodhpurs that his daughter had outgrown - much appreciated. She also loved collecting the eggs. We had a great time and hope to return to this very friendly, comfortable cottage.

I stayed at the Croft Cottage Lodge in April 2010 with my 2 older children (aged 9 and 5). We all absolutely loved it. The perfect base to enjoy the New Forest from, very cosy and Bill was very welcoming (the kids loved feeding the chickens with you!)
There's been a delay in me leaving the feedback as I have not been back to the website but am now looking to book again. I think this is probably saying enough - that I'm keen to get back!

Our first visit in 2007 was unplanned, as someone else let us down - but the start of wonderful repeat visits - not as often as I would like sometimes!! Bill & Helen are the best hosts, and treat us like family, proud to show us round the developing studio - we must come soon now it is finished!! They are also the guilty reason why we now have chickens in our garden!! (plus 7 chicks at the moment :) A great place for couples or families, and can't wait to go again and show-off our new addition!!
As other have said the campsite is great, very laid back, great for kids, dogs are not a problem as long as they behave and in a lovely setting.
We opted to stay in the tepee, very nice not having to pitch the tent in the rain (or take it down again). Large enough for families (and the kids will love staying in it), but cosy for couples too . As the tepee is available all season, you do get the whole site to yourself (fresh eggs and all).

Just returned home from the May bank holiday weekend at The Lodge and have to say that it was one of the best weekend away accomodations I have ever stayed in. Bill was so friendly and welcoming my son loved the dog, horse and chickens and the play area's. The lodge itself was beautiful, clean, tidy and had all the bits and pieces in it, needed and even more than expected along with rolls for breakfast, fruit juice and milk.
We will most definatly be returning again and again, thankyou
